This week has been extraordinary, but not just because of the massive health, social and economic impact of COVID-19. We have found something else extraordinary during our first STRT Week - where 8 STRT(ups) and dozens of contributors are coming together to help move some amazing ideas forward. What we have found is how the spirit of innovation and creativity blooms in these trying times.
If you have some time on your hands, now is a great time to work on that project you’ve been putting off. Now is a great time to develop that idea you had. Now is a great time to learn a new skill to move yourself forward.
We believe when we look at this crisis, some years from now, a part of what we will see is a new wave of innovation born of these difficult circumstances. New med-tech companies, new ways of socializing, new ways of collaborating and many new successful businesses.
We’re passionate about supporting creators and entrepreneurs because these are activities of optimism. These activities intrinsically hold the belief that the status quo can be made better and the world can be made better.
